In the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent. Reading comments with real body photos is one of the best ways to check sizing. I also like when stores show real photos without heavy editing or strange angles.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. If a website gives a detailed guide for measurements, I feel more confident when ordering. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. A simple and honest answer like 鈥渨e do not have that option鈥?is better than marketing fluff. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing.
