According to , the Seahawks and pending free agent wideout Rashid Shaheed aren't close on a contract extension and he is now expected to be a free agent when the new league year begins on March 11. "Rashid Shaheed is said to not be close to an extension with the Seahawks and the expectation is that he now will test the free agent market Monday, per sources," Schefter reported. Shaheed was with the last season and proved to be an a set for Seattle. Shaheed didn't do much in the pa s game, but he also contributed in the return game and scored a touchdown during the playoffs. Shaheed is one of the most electric players in the NFL. Along with his elite return skills, Shaheed is a big-play waiting to happen with his explosive speed. The 27-year-old has never tallied more than 719 Casey Fitzgerald Jersey yards in any season, but he has routinely had a bad quarterback situation in New Orleans during his career, so Shaheed's best may still be yet to come. It's not hard to see why the Steelers, Broncos and Raiders would have interest. Pittsburgh is in the same boat as the two years prior, with the team once again needing an adequate No. 2 wide receiver and more depth. The cupboard is extremely bare behind DK Metcalf in Pittsburgh. The Raiders are in an even worse spot, as they don't have a true No. 1 wide receiver and are seriously lacking depth ahead of a season in which the team will sport a new signal-caller in projected No. 1 overall pick, Fernando Mendoza. The Broncos are in a better spot than the Raiders, as they have Courtland Sutton and some promising young pa s-catchers. However, they could use at least one more veteran to add to the room. Spotrac offers a robust for Shaheed, which amounts to $14.1 million annually. With a the wide receiver market being decent, at best, it's realistic to think he could score that kind of deal. The Raiders are easily in the best position to pay that much with the in the NFL at 88.1 million.
