In MLB The Show 26, the Stadium Creator is one of the most powerful tools for building your dream ballpark—but when it comes to bullpens, you’re hitting some frustrating roadblocks. Despite community requests for more freedom, bullpens remain locked in ways that limit realism and creativity. What You Can’t Do With Bullpens1. Move Them Outside the Field
You can’t tuck bullpens behind the outfield walls or place them in hidden locations. They stay locked in foul territory, meaning every stadium ends up with the same baseline layout. 2. Free Placement
You don’t get full control over where bullpens go. The game forces them into pre-determined spots along the left and right field lines. Even minor adjustments are off-limits. 4. Modify Foul Territory Walls
You cannot adjust walls in foul territory. No “pinching in” or reshaping to fit a unique bullpen design—your options are entirely constrained by the default field boundaries. 5. Use Dynamic Prop Tricks
Unlike trees, signs, or benches, bullpens are not treated as movable props. You can’t integrate them into concourses or stands for aesthetic effects; they are always part of the fixed playing surface. Why These Limits ExistThe main challenge comes down to animation and functionality. Bullpens involve NPCs warming up—pitchers throwing, catchers signaling, and all the small interactions that make the game feel alive. Moving that system outside the default field would require complex code and could introduce glitches that break the game. While concourse NPCs are possible, functional, interactive bullpen players cannot safely exist outside the standard foul territory setup. For now, the community has learned to work around these limits with visual tricks, like building “fake” bullpens or hiding the default mounds behind props, but the reality is clear: you cannot fully customize bullpens like other Stadium Creator elements. Until SDS introduces a major update, these restrictions remain a permanent part of stadium design in MLB The Show 26.
